Viviana M. Jiménez



Viviana Jiménez is a climate change and sustainability expert and consultant specialized in corporate strategy, sustainable growth, corporate responsibility, and international conservation. She has over two decades of experience working on complex problems, helping executives identify responsible business practices and processes, identifying new forms of inter-sector collaboration leading to innovation in science, and leading the implementation of strategic development and growth initiatives for a range of stakeholders.

Viviana led the UNEP Convention on Migratory Species in North America and worked with a number of charities to further environmental conservation and social equity. She was also an international markets securities trader in Bogotá, Colombia.

She holds an MSc in Environmental Change and Management at the University of Oxford, and a BA in Finance, Government, and International Relations from Universidad Externado de Colombia. She studied International Environment and Development at American University and Non-profit Management at Georgetown University.

She is co-founder and board member of the Boyd N. Lyon Sea Turtle Fund and of Red Mujeres y Sostenibilidad.
